Combining physical activity, delicious fine wines, and beautiful sights, a Napa Valley Bike Wine Tour is an excellent way to savor a region renowned for its vineyards and wineries.
Encompassing the towns of Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga, the tour begins the evening before the bike ride begins, with a five-course meal paired with world-class reserve wines. The following morning includes breakfast at the Auberge du Soleil, where participants stay. The meal is followed by 52 miles of cycling through the breathtaking California countryside and vineyards.
Next, enjoy lunch at the Pine Ridge Winery, and then make your way to the final destination of Velo Vino in St. Helena. All meals are provided with special attention paid to wine pairings throughout. This experience is limited to 25 participants, and is led by cycling celebrities. Held in the fall just once a year, all proceeds benefit the nonprofit Napa County Bicycle Coalition.
